The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) searched the residence of Wahyu Setiawan on Thursday (28/12/2023).
It is known that Wahyu Setiawan is a convict of corruption in the interim replacement (PAW) of members of the DPR RI. Wahyu is now the key witness in the corruption case that also ensnared Harun Masiku.
The main actor in this corruption case is none other than politician Harun Masiku, whose name is now unknown.

Wahyu Setiawan is known to be a member of the Central Java General Election Commission.
The man born in Banjarnegara, Central Java, 5 December 1973 is also a convict in a corruption case who is identical to the figure of Harun Masiku.
Before starting his career, Wahyu studied undergraduate at the University of 17 August 1945 Semarang. He then continued his studies at the Postgraduate Program in Administrative Sciences at Jenderal Soedirman University (Unsoed), Purwokerto.
Wahyu served as KPU Commissioner (2017-2022) before being dragged into a corruption case.
Also receiving money from Harun Masiku
Wahyu received ‘illicit money’ from Harun Masiku as a bribe.
Wahyu is now being questioned again by the KPK and his house is being searched to look for evidence of Harun’s whereabouts.
Currently, Harun is still a fugitive after his whereabouts have not been recorded since 2020.
Even though Harun was able to escape, Wahyu had to be his ‘sacrifice’ and was arrested. Wahyu has been sentenced to 7 years in prison and a fine of IDR 200 million in 2021.
Luckily, Wahyu was declared conditionally free as of October 6 2023 and can be released before his prison term ends.
Wahyu is now furious because the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) was unable to arrest Harun Masiku. In fact, the KPK was able to quickly arrest Wahyu.
“I also question, why didn’t the KPK immediately arrest Harun Masiku? The KPK could arrest me, why couldn’t Harun Masiku be arrested?” complained Wahyu at the KPK’s Red and White Building, Jakarta, Thursday (28/12/2023).
Wahyu also became emotional because he was questioned about Harun Masiku’s whereabouts. The reason is, Wahyu doesn’t know where the PDI-P politician is.
“If I knew, I would arrest him! Helping the Corruption Eradication Committee,” he stressed.
He was also contacted by his family when the KPK searched his house.
“Then my family called me, telling me. That was one of the things I asked the investigators about, it turned out it was related to the search for Harun Masiku,” he said.
It is known that Wahyu has poured everything he knows about Harun Masiku to the KPK. Then, he was confused about why the KPK had searched his house again.
“There is no evidence related to that. I have told you everything,” he said.
