Gibran Rakabuming Raka has become a hot topic of public discussion again after appearing at the cawapres debate which was held on Friday (22/12/2023).
Several times the vice presidential candidate from Prabowo Subianto made statements and questions that left his interlocutor unable to move.
The following is a compilation of the moments when the son of President Joko Widodo alias Jokowi checkmated one of his rivals, namely Muhaimin Iskandar alias Cak Imin.
1. Gibran brings up the moment Cak Imin joined in cutting the tumpeng at IKN

If in the past Cak Imin supported development and took part in cutting the tumpeng at the inauguration of the IKN, now the general chairman of PKB has reversed course.
“I took part in inaugurating and cutting the tumpeng at IKN. This is not consistent. Previously supported it, now I don’t support it because I am Mr Anies’ representative who is bringing about change,” said Gibran.
2. Gibran comments on Cak Imin’s plan to build 40 cities at the level of Jakarta, but instead disagrees with IKN

[/Alfian Winanto] Gibran also commented on Cak Imin’s statement regarding development plans for a number of cities in Indonesia that are at the same level as Jakarta.
He thought that the plan was odd. The reason is, Cak Imin does not agree with the IKN development project which uses up quite a bit of the state budget.
“Gus Muhaimin is a bit strange, isn’t he? He wants to build a city at the level of Jakarta, but doesn’t agree with IKN. But go ahead, that’s okay,” said Gibran.
3. Gibran asked a question with unfamiliar terms to Cak Imin

“Gus Muhaimin is the general chairman of the PKB Party, I am sure Gus Muhaimin understands this problem very well. What steps will Gus Muhaimin take to raise Indonesia’s ranking in SGIE?” Gibran asked.
“Frankly, I don’t understand SGIE. What is SGIE?” replied Cak Imin.
4. Gibran jokes that the question is too difficult for Cak Imin
