Just launched, Wuling Binguo EV turns out to be interested in neighboring countries

Electric carsWulingBinguo EV apparently has its own attraction for neighboring countries. Even though it has only just been officially launched in Indonesia, Wuling admits that neighboring countries are already interested in this retro-style car.

The Marketing Director of Wuling Motors Indonesia, Dian Asmahani, said that so far there are several countries that are interested. It’s just that he is not yet willing to provide further information regarding countries interested in Binguo EV.

“There are several countries that are interested (in Binguo EV). But, we can’t provide that information now,” said Dian Asmahani, recently, Tuesday (19/11/2023).

Furthermore, Dian emphasized that currently Wuling is focused on meeting domestic market demand.

“We want to focus first on consumers in Indonesia. Export opportunities are still wide open,” explained Dian.

Regarding production, the Wuling Binguo EV will be produced at the Wuling factory in Cikarang with a capacity of 120,000 units per year.

For information, the Binguo EV has dimensions of 3,950 mm in length, 1,708 mm in width and 1,580 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,560 mm.

This car features modern elements such as LED front and rear lights with an elegant X-Shaped design and dynamic body lines.

For power matters, Binguo EV uses LFP batteries with two variants based on mileage, namely 333 km and 410 km.

For the 333 km (long range) variant, the battery capacity is 31.9 kWh. Meanwhile, for the 410 km variant (premium range), the battery capacity is 37.9 kWh.

Each variant is equipped with a 50 kW electric motor. The maximum torque that can be produced reaches 125 Nm.

The price of the Wuling Binguo EV electric car with a range of 333 km is priced at IDR 358 million.

Meanwhile, the Binguo EV with a range of 410 km is priced at IDR 408 million.
