It was reported that the DKI Jakarta Government will hold a 2024 New Year event entitled “Global Jakarta Youth Night” which will take place in the Sudirman-Thamrin area.

List of 2024 New Year’s Eve Events in Jakarta
It is known that in the “Jakarta Global Muda Mudi Night” event there will be six segments, namely Gemilang Silang Mona, Jakarnaval, Bundaran HI Main Stage, Kirana Jakara, Jalan Jenderal Sudirman Stage, and Jalan MH Thamrin Stage.
For the first segment in the “Jakarta Global Muda Mudi Night” event, namely Gemilang Silang Monas. In this segment, the audience will be shown a video screening and a dancing fountain. Apart from that, there will also be entertainment, and so on.
Apart from Gemilang Silang Monas, there is also the Jakarnaval segment (Jakarta Karnaval) which is on the southwest side of Monas. The theme for Jakarnaval in 2024 is “Indonesian Legend Intellectual Property”.
In this segment of Jakarnaval there will be a variety of cars decorated with attractive lights and various decorations such as Sri Asih, Si Unyil, Si Juki, Satria Dewa Gatotkaca, and Si Buta from the Ghost Cave.
Next, there are segments along Jalan MH Thamrin such as at Bundaran HI and the Sarinah area. At the HI Roundabout there will be Kirana Jakarta City Vision and a 500 drone show and a fireworks display.
Apart from events in Central Jakarta, New Year 2024 events will also be held at various other points in Jakarta such as in the Mayor’s Office Area (North Jakarta and West Jakarta), Setu Babakan Betawi Cultural Village (South Jakarta), Old Shanghai (East Jakarta) , and Tidung Island (Thousand Islands).
For the event schedule, it has been stated above that the 2024 New Year celebration event in Jakarta will take place on New Year’s Eve, December 31 2023. The event will start a few hours before the 2024 New Year celebration.
