The two-wheeled Automotive Sports Federation or FIM (Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme) and Dorna WSBK (DWO), organizers of the motorbike championship have just released the complete list of contestants for the 2024 World Superbike, WSBK or WorldSBK competition season. The full official name is MOTUL FIM Superbike 2024.
Quoted from the official World Superbike release as received by Suara . com , it is stated that dynamic shifts are making the line-up increasingly interesting and promising.
There are 23 racers who will participate in next year’s WSBK season, while the championship calendar lasts 12 rounds, taking place in a number of countries with different circuit characteristics.

Some of the shifts mentioned on the official World SBK page include rider Jonathan Rea from Great Britain who now relies on the Yamaha YZF R1. He now joins the PATA PROMETEON YAMAHA team.
Previously, this father of two children dominated WSBK with the title of World SBK World Champion six times (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020) which makes him the unbroken record to date. He moved from the Kawasaki team to Pata Protemeon Yamaha by mutual agreement, even though he still had one year remaining on his contract.

Both Jonathan Rea and Toprak Razgatlioglu definitely have to make a series of adjustments compared to their previous way of fighting.
On the other hand, a number of riders who previously played in the SuperSport (SS) class have now reached the highest level of this championship, namely World SBK. Among others is Dominique Aegerter from Switzerland, who competes with the Yamaha YZF R1, and carries the GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team flag.
As explained by Dominique Aegerter when competing at the Mandalika International Circuit and taking a selfie together last year, he expressed his readiness to complete the best race in the SuperSport category so that he could immediately fight in the class of kings in the WSBK racing category.
“Significant transformation has reshaped the network of competitors, with major changes having occurred for both the standings of motorbike manufacturers and independent companies. So we promise an exciting racing season with FIM and Dorna WSBK,” as stated in the official WorldSBK press release.
