Suzuki Ends GIIAS Bandung With Positive Score, Hybrid Model Steals Attention

PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) in collaboration with the Nusantara Jaya Sentosa (NJS) dealer, closed GIIAS Bandung 2023 by recording sales of 170% of the predetermined target.

In line with the theme, namely Hybrid World, 42% of Suzuki passenger car sales at GIIAS Bandung 2023 were contributed by hybrid variants such as the New XL7 Hybrid, Grand Vitara and All New Ertiga Hybrid.

Apart from that, it was also recorded that the XL7 variant had succeeded in attracting the attention of visitors with the highest achievement, namely 29% of total sales. Followed by New Carry which contributed 24% and S-Presso with 18%.

“We are grateful for the positive response from the public to Suzuki during GIIAS Bandung this year (2023). Bandung and West Java indeed have great potential for the automotive industry. This is proven by sales results that exceed targets, as well as the opportunity for Suzuki’s New XL7 Hybrid to achieve award as favorite passenger car in the MPV category,” said Randy Murdoko, Asst to Dept. Head 4W Sales PT SIS, Friday (1/12/2023).

According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), Bandung City has a population of 2,469,589 people. From this data, it is not surprising that Bandung is known as the second city after Jakarta with the most dense population. Apart from that, Bandung City is also the fourth largest city in Indonesia.

From the characteristics of the people of Bandung City, the majority of Suzuki customers are young families and first jobbers who rely on passenger cars such as the XL7 and S-Presso.

“In the future, Suzuki is committed to continuing to be closer and reaching consumers through various activities and promos that can be obtained easily by the public,” concluded Randy.
