Suzuki Jimny 5 Door is what automotive lovers in Indonesia have been waiting for. Several rumors have circulated among the public about the presence of this iconic SUV from Suzuki.
Now, news has emerged that the 5-door Suzuzki Jimnu is being tested on the roads. This was first uploaded by an Instagram account @fikrialifansyah which was then reposted by the TikTok account @kuliahotomotif.
In the upload, the white SUV can be seen traveling on the streets of Indonesia. Using a white number plate, the car was moving smoothly through the busy road.
The 5-door Suzuki Jimny has not yet been officially released in Indonesia. This iconic SUV was introduced to the public at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2021. However, this failed due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
Talking about the 5-door Jimny, in appearance this car has a similar design to the previous version. However, this car has dimensions that are 340 mm longer than the 3-door Jimny.
From the engine sector, this car is predicted to still use a 1,500 cc naturally aspirated engine which is capable of producing up to 130 hp of power with a maximum torque of 134 Nm.
Suzuki has also equipped the 5-door Jimny with an all-wheel drive system, aka All Wheel Drive (AWD) AllGrip Pro Suzuki. With this system, this car is able to traverse even extreme off-road terrain.
