TVS Motor Company Expands to the European Market Starting in 2024

TVSMotor Company, a motorcycle manufacturer that has gained fame in Asia, Africa and Latin America, will enter the European market in 2024. This move marks a significant expansion for TVS which was previously focused on certain regions.

While TVS has entered the European market since its acquisition of Norton in 2020, its presence will be even stronger through the new distribution deal. In January 2024, TVS will release electric and conventional motorbikes in the European market.

Quoted from Visordown, the motorbike models that will be offered in Europe involve various types, including TVS Jupiter 125, TVS NTORQ, TVS Raider, TVS iQube S, TVS X, TVS Ronin, TVS Apache RR 310, and TVS Apache RTR 310.

TVS’s partnership with Emil Frey, which has a leading position as a vehicle importer and retailer in Europe, will be a key factor in distributing TVS products in several European countries. Emil Frey will use its sales, marketing and service network to distribute TVS products.

Although detailed information regarding distribution regions is incomplete, France was announced as the main focus of TVS products through this partnership.

Sudarshan Venu, Managing Director of TVS Motor Company, stated, “The strategic alliance with Emil Frey is an important step in our global expansion strategy. Europe will be a key market for us, and through this partnership, we aim to bring our latest products closer to to European customers.” With this expansion, TVS Motor Company hopes to increase its coverage in the global market.
