PT Neta Auto Indonesia (Neta), an electric car distributor company from China, carried out a symbolic first handover of the Neta V electric car product at the Neta Kelapa Gading dealer, North Jakarta.

Neta directly handed over 100 units of Neta V electric cars to consumers who had placed orders which were opened since the 2023 GIIAS event.

This momentum also officially marks the distribution of Neta V units to all consumers in Indonesia.

“As one of the important markets in the ASEAN region, Indonesia has provided positive support to Neta since its first debut in Indonesia. “Therefore, this event is also an expression of our gratitude to consumers who have trusted Neta V as their electric vehicle of choice,” said Zhang Yong, CEO of Neta Auto.

Neta’s efforts to expand in Indonesia also show its seriousness from the production side.

Neta will start local assembly of the Neta V electric vehicle in the form of Completely Knocked Down (CKD) in collaboration with PT Handal Indonesia Motor which will start operating in the quarter of 2024.

This step is not only aimed at increasing product availability locally, but also supporting the growth of the domestic manufacturing industry.

“Neta to continue to innovate, listen to consumer needs, and support the transition to environmentally friendly vehicles in Indonesia for a better future,” concluded Zhang Yong.
