RSV Helmets together with Pertamina Enduro present the Pertamina Enduro RSV Championship 2023 as a new venue for national motorbike racing as a stage for local racers.
RSV Helmets Marketing Director Richard Ryan said that the biggest branding for helmets is from racing events, but to realize this hobby is not cheap and requires a lot of money. So the prizes given in this racing event have been taken into account.
“This is a hobby that is not cheap, it requires a lot of capital. The minimum event for the kejurda (regional championship) is that the prize alone does not return the capital and the racer needs funds for himself, on that basis our prize is almost IDR 600 million,” said Richard, Sunday (26/11/2023).
According to him, this racing event, which was held for the first time, was not just a marketing gimmick for the company, but real evidence that supports the world of Indonesian racing, especially its racers.
After this year’s success, entering 2024 it is hoped that there will be 5-6 series that will be held.
“Logically after this event takes place, young or pro racers will choose which one to take part in, in the end they will choose this event, and other events will raise the standard and have a direct impact on the racers, next year hopefully it can be more than that,” he said.
Meanwhile, VP Sales & Marketing Domestic Retail Automotive Pertamina Lubricants, Nugroho Setyo Utomo said, the company always supports local or international sporting events, and this event is extraordinary because the prizes are out of the ordinary.
“Why do we support it because we see that there is a kind of new passion that RSV is building together with us in expanding its global partnership, after our Lamborghini partnership with VR46, Pertamina Enduro VR46 MotoGP,” said Nugroho.
Pertamina Enduro RSV Championship 2023 will take place at the Sentul Karting Circuit, Bogor, West Java, on 8-10 December 2023. Competing in 16 classes, 5 main classes for 150cc underbond motorbikes, and 6 support classes for automatic motorbikes.
